marenv::wake::WakeQuery Struct Reference

#include <WakeSelection.h>

+ Collaboration diagram for marenv::wake::WakeQuery:

Public Attributes

const WakeField * exclude = nullptr
 A registered field to skip; null skips none.

const WakeField * own = nullptr
 An unregistered field to compose in as well; null adds none.

const JetField * excludeJet = nullptr
 A registered jet to skip; null skips none.

std::span< const int > ownExcludedTags {}
 The tags of own's sources to leave out at this point (WakeField::SampleExcluding(), ENV-0107); empty leaves out none. The caller keeps them alive for the query.

Detailed Description

Which wake fields one WakeRegistry::Compose() query composes besides the registered ones (contract C5, phase F amendment).

A default WakeQuery composes exactly the registered fields and jets. Which terms are composed, the wakes and/or the jets, the WaterVelocityParts of the query decide (plan E1). Fields are matched by pointer. A casting net's own panels query with exclude = its registered lumped field and own = its unregistered private per-panel field; a self-propelled body with exclude = its hull field and excludeJet = its jet (ADR 0003). A source-set caster's own sample point also names its own sources of the own field in ownExcludedTags, so it never sees its own private source after overtaking its frozen wake (fhsim_environment ENV-0107); only a field that evaluates its sources directly (SourceSetWake) honours them.
