Karl-Johan Reite What a net cable element adds beyond its weight, buoyancy and hydrodynamic loads, and how it is drawn. Net/NetStructure uses the defaults; Net/NetStructureWithConstraints sets both to false.

Visualization only: the spheres and disks without a mesh name get "fhSphere.mesh" and "fhDisk.mesh", and a sphere is drawn with its name as material. False keeps Net/NetStructureWithConstraints' drawing: empty names and the default sphere material.

structuralForce

bool NetCableOptions::structuralForce = true

Tension and internal damping (CableElDynStiff::AddStructuralForces). False in Net/NetStructureWithConstraints: an adapter choice (owner ruling Q3d, 2026-10-14), the constraint solver holds the lengths.
