Collaboration diagram for Test netcage wake:Test SimObject for NetCageWakeField wake attenuation.
Creates and registers a NetCageWakeField with the Environment for testing wake current reduction around net-cage structures. The cage is moored: its wake is a velocity deficit relative to a zero source velocity, oriented along the ambient current at the cage, so the waked current is (1 - d) of the ambient current and still water stays still.
| Name | Width | Description |
|---|---|---|
| FullWakeDepth | 1 | Full wake depth [m]; finite and not negative. Required. |
| WakeAngleDeg | 1 | Wake spreading half-angle [degrees]; in (0, 90), else a setup error. Required. |
| FullWakeDiameter | 1 | Full wake diameter [m]; finite and positive. Required. |
| InitialBoundaryLayer | 1 | Initial boundary layer thickness [m]; finite and not negative. Required. |
| MaxDeficit | 1 | Velocity deficit d in the full wake region [0, 1]: the current there is reduced to (1 - d) of the ambient current. A value outside [0, 1] is a setup error. Required. |
| Position | 3 | Cage position [x, y, z] in NED frame [m]; the wake depths are measured from z. (Default: 0, 0, 0) |
| DeficitCutoff | 1 | Deficit below which the far wake is cut off, sizing the wake's bounding box. Must be > 0, else a setup error. Required. |
